Chris Broussard is a sports analyst for ESPN who mainly covers the NBA. He also is a columnist for ESPN Magazine and ESPN.com. Broussard also makes appearances on ESPN's NBA Fastbreak as an analyst.
Sportswriting career

Broussard grew up in the Midwest living in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Syracuse, Des Moines and Cleveland. He attended Holy Name High School in Cleveland. When he was younger he had dreams of going to USC and becoming the next great tailback for the USC Trojans. Instead, he became a point guard for Oberlin College.

In 1990 Broussard started his sportwriting career for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He worked there for four years until moving to the Akron Beacon Journal where he started covering the NBA. Broussard spent two and a half season for the Akron Beacon Journal as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat writer. Broussard then went on to work for the New York Times where he covered the New Jersey Nets for three years, the New York Knicks for two years, and the NBA in general for one year. In September 2004 Broussard joined ESPN Magazine.

Broussard lives in South Orange, New Jersey, with his wife, Crystal, and their twin daughters, Alexis and Noelle.
